Polyvine Decorators Varnish-500 ml Pint
I have been looking for a product that I could use to seal transfers and not worry about getting “hazy” over dark colors or reacting negatively over wood. I also wanted something that was durable. I’m happy to announce that the Decorators Varnish by Polyvine is my topcoat of choice. It comes in Satin and Dead Flat and I feel this is an ideal topcoat for sealing your transfers. It’s a highly durable finish that protects a wide range of surfaces against finger marks, stains, scuffing and color fading. This product is good for internal wood, fabric, paint work, wallpaper. plaster, murals, mouldings and I have tested it over transfers too.

preparation
All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.
application
Ensure the product is well mixed. Apply thinly 1 or 2 coats of varnish. On porous surfaces dilute the first coat with 10% water. *This product should be brushed on or sprayed. Do not roll.
caution
Always test for clarity over dark colors. Application over emulsion paint can draw contaminants through the paint film. Should not be applied over uncured oil based products. Test for compatibility before application. This product must be stored indoors and should not freeze.
