Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish-500 ml Pint
I have been looking for a product that I could use to seal Milk paint that could give it the soft feel of wax but not disturb the paint like the process of waxing and one that would work with all paint colors. Polyvine’s Wax Finish Varnish is the perfect option. When you have a super chippy milk painted surface, you want to seal it with a poly so that it does not continue to flake off. Using this product will reduce the risk of further chipping compared to top-coating with hemp oil or disturbing the paint more with traditional waxes. You just need to make sure to put this water based poly down in thin layers so that hazing does not occur which can happen if you put it down too thick.

preparation
All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.
application
On new wood and porous surfaces dilute the first coat 10% with water. Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain that may have occurred. If a very high level of durability and stain resistance is required, apply one or two coats of clear satin wax finish varnish and one or two coats of clear dead flat wax finish varnish. This product is to be brushed or sprayed. It is not to be rolled.
caution
Always apply to a test area before starting work.
Too thick a coating, or pooling in crevices, will dry with a white haze.
Appearance may vary according to the color and type of wood and the number of coats.
Protect the finish from water and steam for five days after application.
